The Export Manager will be responsible for driving business growth across the SAARC and African regions by achieving sales targets, expanding the distributor network, strengthening channel partnerships, and executing market development initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with distributors and internal teams to ensure sustainable business growth aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets for the assigned territories.
Develop and execute market-specific business plans to drive profitable growth.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence across existing and new countries.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
Distributor Development & Management
Identify, evaluate, appoint, and onboard new distributors in line with the company's expansion strategy.
Build and maintain solid relationships with distributors to ensure long-term business partnerships.
Monitor distributor performance through defined KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
Conduct regular business reviews and jointly develop sales and growth plans.
Market Activation
Plan and execute local sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with distributors.
Drive retail and dealer activation programs, promotional campaigns, exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer engagement activities.
Ensure effective implementation of branding and visibility initiatives in assigned markets.
Product Training & Technical Support
Conduct regular product knowledge and sales training sessions for distributor sales teams, dealers, and key customers.
Equip channel partners with the necessary product, application, and competitive knowledge to improve market effectiveness.
Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to deliver consistent training content.
