Job Description (JD) – Accountant

Job Summary

TheAccountant is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting, GST and TDS compliance, audit coordination, and documentation for multiple entities under the DA Group. The role ensures accurate accounting records, statutory compliance, and timely resolution of audit and departmental queries.

Job Responsibilities

1. Day-to-Day Accounting Work

Maintaining regular accounting records and managing daily transactions for all related entities,
- Counter sales entries in books
- Bank entries and reconciliation
- Sales entries and receipt entries

2. GST Returns Preparation

Preparation of monthly GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) for all related entities.

3. TDS Returns & Payments
- Preparation of quarterly TDS returns
- Calculation of TDS payment amounts

4. Investment Documentation

Preparation and maintenance of documentation required for investment purposes.

5. Auditor Query Resolution

Resolve queries and provide documents to auditors related to their observations.

6. GST Department Audit Documentation





Prepare and submit documents related to GST Department audit observations.

1. Accounting Accuracy & Daily Transactions
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all day-to-day transactions
- Maintain error-free books of accounts

2. GST Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns
- Maintain accuracy in GST data and reconciliations

3. TDS Compliance
- Ensure correct calculation and timely payment of TDS
- File quarterly TDS returns without errors or delays

4. Bank Reconciliation & Record Maintenance
- Ensure timely bank entries and reconciliation
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents

5. Audit Coordination & Query Resolution
- Resolve auditor queries promptly and accurately
- Ensure timely submission of documents

6. Investment & Regulatory Documentation
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation
