Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lead acoountantto oversee day-to-day accounting operations and lead a small finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in bookkeeping, core accounting, journal entries, accrual accounting, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and bookkeeping activities.
- Review and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and provisions.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, statutory regulations, and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the finance team to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliverables.




- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best accounting practices.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com/M.Com).
- CA Inter/CMA/MBA (Finance) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with prior experience leading or mentoring a team.
