We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced CCM Incharge to oversee the Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) operations, ensuring the production of superior quality steel billets for our TMT bars.
Job Summary
The CCM Incharge will be responsible for managing the continuous casting operations, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and efficiency. This role involves overseeing the casting process, maintaining equipment, and leading a team to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Continuous Casting Machine to ensure efficient production of steel billets.
- Develop and implement production schedules and ensure adherence to them.
- Monitor and control casting parameters to achieve desired quality and productivity targets.
- Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality steel billets.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality of the output.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to prevent production disruptions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators.
- Ensure the regular maintenance and upkeep of CCM equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Promote a safe working workplace and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
