Role Description
This full-time Robotics Technician role at Axiom Robotics and Automation is a hybrid position based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Robotics Technician will install, configure, and maintain robotic systems, including setting up robotic welding cells and related equipment. Responsibilities include performing routine inspections, diagnosing technical issues, and executing corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety. The role involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to support automation projects, documenting service activities, and following standardized procedures and quality guidelines. The technician will also assist in testing new robot applications, training operators on proper use, and continuously improving system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in robotics and robot operation, with the ability to work confidently with industrial robotic systems.
- Hands-on experience in robotic welding, including setup, calibration,



and basic programming of welding robots.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control issues in robotic equipment.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance on robots and related automation equipment to reduce downtime.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering/technical field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with safety standards for industrial automation and commitment to protected work practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on the shop floor and remotely.
- Comfort with using diagnostic tools, basic PLC or robot programming interfaces, and maintenance documentation systems.
- Willingness to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area with occasional flexible or remote work as project needs allow.
