We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager from the Kraft Paper / Paper Manufacturing industry who can take ownership of sales growth for Rudra Paper Mill.
The ideal candidate should already have a strong understanding of the kraft paper market, including paper grades, GSM, BF, strength parameters, applications, customer requirements, pricing, competition and market dynamics.
This is a hands-on sales role for someone who can independently develop customers, generate business, negotiate commercial terms and build long-term relationships with paper buyers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales plans for Rudra's kraft paper products.
- Identify and acquire recent customers across relevant kraft paper segments.
- Develop existing customers and increase business volumes.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and continuously identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits and market visits.
2. Customer Management
- Develop relationships with purchase heads,
production heads, technical teams and business owners.
- Understand customer specifications and coordinate internally for product development or modifications.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution in coordination with production and quality teams.
- Maintain regular communication with key customers and ensure repeat business.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
The candidate should be able to understand customer specifications and communicate effectively with Rudra's production and quality teams.
3. Market Intelligence
- Maintain an updated database of customers, prospects and competitors.
- Track competitor products, prices, capacities and market movements.
- Identify new mills, converters, distributors and end users entering the market.
