Role & responsibilities Prepare accurate shipping documentation, including Delivery Challans (DC), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, E-Way Bills, Bills of Lading (BOL), and dispatch register entries.
Map out daily/weekly dispatch schedules based on delivery priorities, customer requirements, and transport availability.
Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) vendors, transporters, and local freight providers to secure vehicles (trucks, trailers, vans).
Plan efficient delivery routes and consolidate shipments to maximize vehicle capacity and lower freight costs.
Monitor active dispatches in real-time using GPS tracking or transport updates to ensure timely transit. Ensure goods are properly packaged and loaded to minimize transit damage.
