Plumbing Supervisor – Civil Construction Project

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to supervise and manage plumbing activities at a civil construction project. The candidate will be responsible for manpower supervision, material coordination, installation, testing, and ensuring plumbing work is completed as per drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day plumbing activities at the construction site.
- Manage plumbers, helpers, and plumbing contractors.
- Supervise installation of water supply, drainage, sanitary, rainwater, and related plumbing systems.
- Ensure plumbing work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate plumbing activities with Civil, Electrical, MEP, and site teams.
- Check pipe alignment, levels, fittings, joints, and workmanship.
- Supervise pressure testing, leakage testing, and other required inspections.
- Check plumbing materials and ensure proper utilization at site.




- Monitor manpower and daily work progress.
- Maintain daily work and material records.
- Identify site issues and report them to the Plumbing Engineer/Project Manager.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site safety procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned plumbing works.

Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Plumbing, Mechanical, Civil, or relevant qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience in plumbing supervision, preferably in civil construction projects.
- Good knowledge of water supply, drainage, sanitary, and rainwater systems.
- Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings.
- Experience in handling plumbers, helpers, and contractors.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing testing and quality requirements.
