Role Summary :

The Quality Control Executive ensures that every meal leaving the Yummy Plates kitchen meets food safety, hygiene, and quality standards. The role spans the full flow from raw material inspection through cooking, packing, and dispatch with a strong emphasis on FSSAI and HACCP compliance in a high-volume institutional setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct daily hygiene and sanitation audits across receiving, storage, prep, cooking, packing, and dispatch areas.

• Inspect incoming raw materials (vegetables, meat, dairy, dry goods) for freshness, quality, temperature, weight, and expiry; reject and log substandard supplies.

• Monitor and record cooking, holding, and cold-chain temperatures; maintain temperature and CCP logs.

• Perform organoleptic checks (taste, smell, appearance, texture) and maintain retained samples for each batch.

• Verify portion sizes, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy for institutional dispatch.

• Oversee staff personal hygiene and grooming; maintain health, handwash, and medical-fitness records.





• Manage and document pest-control schedules and corrective actions. • Maintain QC documentation batch records, audit trails, CAPA reports, and calibration logs for thermometers and weighing scales.

• Train kitchen and service staff on GMP, GHP, and food-safety practices. • Coordinate with vendors on quality issues and conduct root-cause analysis for client complaints.

• Support internal, third-party, and client audits and inspections.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Hotel Management, or a related field.

• 24 years of QC/QA experience in catering, cloud kitchens, food processing, or hospitality.

• Working knowledge of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and GHP.

• FOSTAC certification preferred.

• Strong documentation, attention to detail, and reporting skills.

• Willing to work early-morning shifts typical of bulk catering operations.
