Job Description – Sales & Marketing Executive/Chocolate Department

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the chocolate product portfolio.
- Develop and execute sales plans according to business objectives.
- Identify new markets, distributors, dealers, retailers, and institutional customers.
- Manage existing customer relationships and increase repeat business.
- Monitor sales performance, market demand, and product movement.
- Ensure proper product availability and visibility across assigned markets.
- Coordinate with distributors and sales teams to improve secondary and primary sales.

2. Marketing
- Develop and implement marketing activities to increase brand awareness and product sales.
- Plan promotional campaigns, product launches, sampling activities, exhibitions, and events.
- Coordinate with the creative/marketing team for product communication, packaging, catalogues, and promotional materials.




- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Suggest new products, flavours, pack sizes, and promotional offers based on market feedback.
- Support digital marketing and social media initiatives for the chocolate brand.

3. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail, modern trade, e-commerce, hotels, restaurants, cafés, corporate gifting, and institutional sales.
- Build relationships with key accounts and potential business partners.
- Explore recent territories and distribution channels.
- Prepare business proposals and commercial offers where required.

4. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Track competitor products, pricing, schemes, promotions, and market activities.
- Prepare regular market intelligence reports.
- Identify opportunities and challenges in the chocolate market.
