About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Architect to lead architectural planning, approvals, and execution for redevelopment projects in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of DCPR 2034, MCGM approval processes, and hands-on experience in coordinating with consultants and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Planning
- Lead preparation of architectural designs, layouts, and feasibility studies for redevelopment projects
- Optimize FSI utilization as per DCPR 2034 and applicable regulations
- Prepare concept, schematic, and detailed drawings

2. Approval & Liaison
- Coordinate with liaison architects and follow up with authorities
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory norms, including fire, environmental, and other statutory requirements

3. Working Drawings & Coordination
- Oversee preparation of detailed working drawings and GFC drawings
- Coordinate with RCC, MEP, and other consultants
- Ensure drawings are practical, efficient, and site-friendly

4. Site Coordination & Execution




- Work closely with site teams to ensure design intent is maintained
- Resolve on-site design and execution challenges
- Conduct periodic site visits and review progress

5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain proper documentation for approvals and submissions
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch)
- Registered with the Council of Architecture (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of DCPR 2034 and redevelopment norms
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit is an advantage
- Experience in MCGM submissions and approval processes
- Solid coordination and communication skills

Preferred Experience
- Prior experience working with a real estate developer in Mumbai
- Hands-on involvement in redevelopment or SRA projects
- Exposure to handling projects from planning to completion
