Role Summary
Support the Automatic Assembly department by operating and maintaining automated assembly machines, ensuring smooth production, quality, safety, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automatic/semi-automatic assembly machines as per SOPs.
- Assist in machine setup, changeovers, and production line balancing.
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic PLC-related issues.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team during machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Perform in-process quality inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE guidelines, and participate in 5S, TPM, and Kaizen activities.
- Maintain production and machine records,
including downtime and maintenance logs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and improve OEE.
- Participate in structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) and develop skills in automation, mechatronics, and manufacturing processes.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Positive problem-solving, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
