Role & responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in industrial automation and electrical control system activities.
- Understand and work with basic electrical and electronic circuits, control panels, motors, and drives.
- Assist in installation, testing, and troubleshooting of motors, VFDs/drives, sensors, relays, contactors, and control components.
- Support engineers in PLC and SCADA programming, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Learn and work with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or Omron.
- Assist with PLC I/O checking, panel testing, machine commissioning, and system validation.
- Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, control schematics, and panel drawings.
- Assist in identifying and resolving electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related issues.




- Support machine installation and commissioning activities at plant/site locations.
- Perform basic testing of electrical and automation components under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Automation, Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, checklists, test reports, and commissioning records.
- Follow electrical safety, workplace safety, and company engineering standards.
- Participate in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn current PLC, SCADA, HMI, drives, and industrial automation technologies.
- Work effectively in a team and adapt to changing technical and site requirements.
