Position: VMC Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled VMC Operator with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in operating Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, tool setting, offset corrections, component inspection, and maintaining production quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor VMC machines for precision machining.
- Perform machine setup, workpiece loading/unloading, and tool setting.
- Carry out tool changes and tool offset corrections.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Operate machines according to CNC programs and production requirements.
- Inspect finished components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ensure required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Monitor machining processes and identify quality issues.




- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
- Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Mandatory Skills
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a VMC/CNC Operator.
- Solid knowledge of VMC machine operation.
- Experience in tool setting and offset correction.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of machining dimensions and tolerances.
- Experience using Vernier caliper, micrometer, and gauges.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programs, G-code and M-code.
- Knowledge of precision machining and quality inspection.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers.
- Experience in precision component manufacturing.
- Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge.

Candidate Profile

Candidates with hands-on experience in VMC machining, tool setting, offset correction, and component inspection are preferred.
