WordPress & Shopify Developer (SEO + AI-Enabled Development)About the Role

We are seeking an experienced WordPress & Shopify Developer to build, optimize, and maintain highperformance, scalable ecommerce websites

The ideal candidate combines strong development expertise with a deep understanding of technical SEO and hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate development, optimization, and automation

You will collaborate closely with design, marketing, and growth teams to deliver quick, secure, and conversionfocused digital experiences

Key Responsibilities1

Website Development & Customization

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites with a focus on performance and scalability

Build and extend custom WordPress themes/plugins and Shopify themes/apps

Convert Figma / PSD / design systems into pixel-perfect, responsive web pages

Implement and customize WooCommerce, Shopify checkout flows, payment gateways, shipping, and tax logic

SEO & Performance Optimization

Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices across both platforms

Optimize:





Meta tags, schema markup, headings, URLs, images

Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)

Page speed, caching, lazy loading, CDN usage

Conduct SEO and performance audits, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements

Maintenance, Security & Scalability

Ensure website security through updates, patches, backups, and vulnerability fixes

Troubleshoot issues across themes, plugins, apps, and integrations

Optimize hosting environments (shared, VPS, cloud) for WordPress and Shopify

Collaboration & Analytics

Work closely with designers, SEO teams, and marketing stakeholders

Configure and monitor Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools

Provide technical recommendations to improve traffic, conversions, and user experience

Technical RequirementsCore Web & Backend Skills

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
