Position: ITI Fitter – EV 3-Wheeler Assembly

Job Purpose

To perform assembly and fitting activities for EV 3-wheeler vehicles as per defined work instructions, drawings, quality standards, and production targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of EV 3-wheeler vehicles.
- Assemble components such as chassis, suspension, steering, braking system, wheels, seats, body parts, doors, and other vehicle components.
- Perform tightening of nuts, bolts, fasteners, and joints using appropriate hand tools and torque tools.
- Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, SOPs, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in installation and routing of wiring harnesses and other electrical components as per instructions.
- Handle basic fitting activities such as drilling,



grinding, cutting, filing, and component alignment where required.
- Check proper fitment, alignment, tightening, and finishing of assembled parts.
- Conduct basic visual and functional checks during vehicle assembly.
- Identify and report any defect, abnormality, missing component, or assembly issue to the supervisor.
- Maintain required production quality and achieve daily production targets.
- Follow 5S, safety rules, PPE requirements, and shop-floor discipline.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstation in good condition.
- Follow First Time Right (FTR) and quality standards during assembly.
- Support rework and rectification activities when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the workstation.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of fitting and mechanical assembly.
- Positive understanding of hand tools such as spanners, torque wrench, Allen keys, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
