Job Purpose

To generate new business opportunities, identify potential customers, promote solar products and solutions, and achieve assigned sales targets. The role involves customer acquisition, site visits, preparing quotations, follow-up, negotiation, and supporting the sales process through order closure and installation coordination.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Generate leads through direct marketing, references, tele-calling, digital platforms, and field visits.
- Identify and develop recent residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets assigned by the management.
- Conduct customer meetings and understand their solar energy requirements.
- Promote rooftop solar, on-grid/off-grid/hybrid systems and related solar solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

Customer & Site Management
- Conduct site visits and collect required technical and commercial information.
- Coordinate with the technical team for site assessment and system design requirements.
- Explain system capacity,



generation, savings, ROI, warranty, and other relevant benefits to customers.
- Address customer queries and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects until conversion.

Quotation & Order Conversion
- Prepare and submit quotations and proposals in coordination with the technical/operations team.
- Negotiate with customers within the approved commercial guidelines.
- Follow up on quotations and convert leads into confirmed orders.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely collection of advance/payment as per company policy.
- Coordinate with the installation and service teams after order confirmation.

Market Development
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and potential business areas.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, and market trends.
