Experience
10 to 15 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing wood furniture, upholstered furniture (sofas), and modular furniture production.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology, Furniture Technology, or a related field.
- MBA in Operations Management is preferred.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or Kaizen are an added advantage.

Job Summary
The Senior Production Operations Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and control of manufacturing operations across the Wood, Sofa, and Modular Furniture units. The role focuses on achieving production targets, improving productivity, ensuring product quality, controlling manufacturing costs, maintaining workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement while maximizing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.




Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Control
- Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within agreed timelines.
- Monitor production schedules and optimize capacity utilization.
- Coordinate with Planning, Sales, Procurement, and Stores to ensure uninterrupted production.

Manufacturing Operations
- Lead all production activities across:
- Solid Wood Furniture Unit
- Sofa Manufacturing Unit
- Modular Furniture Unit
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Optimize workflow to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
- Monitor production performance and take corrective actions.

Workforce Management
- Lead and mentor Production Managers, Supervisors, Engineers, and Shop Floor teams.
- Plan manpower deployment based on production requirements.
- Identify skill gaps and arrange training programs.
