- Design Engineer-Mechanical Equipment

Key Responsibilities
- - Experience / exposure to basic and detailed engineering of Mechanical works
- - Preparation of Hydraulic Calculation, Pump Head Calculation, and Pipe Size Calculation
- - Knowledge on equipment selection for Pumps, Blowers, Mixers, Process equipment, SBR, digestors, gas holders, decanters, dosing system, Hydrolysis process, UV, Chlorination system, Heat Exchangers, HVAC system, Firefighting etc
- - Review of Mechanical Gas
- - Knowledge of Piping/Equipment support design, Design of platforms and pipe racks
- - Preparation of Equipment / System layouts, technical evaluation of Vendor offers etc
- - Knowledge of selection of material (MOC) of various components of equipment, pump head- system head curves calculations, preparation of BOQ's with specification
- - Checking vendor s equipment drawing & Technical specification as per tender requirement /client requirement
- - Meeting with Client and other stakeholders to get approval of the design,



drawings and all other technical documents required to complete the project smoothly
- - Knowledge of design of piping system
- - 3D modelling with clash detection
- - Able to adopt cost effective / cost saving design
- - Capable of handling a small team

Qualifications
- - BE / B

Tech

or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience of 4- 7 years
- - Experience on using piping software like Cadmatic, Auto CAD, Revit, Navisworks
- - Proficient in using various Indian design codes and standards
- - Experience of working in EPC / consultancy organization
- - Design experience in water/wastewater treatment sector will be preferred
