Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain databases using PostgreSQL on Linux platforms.
- Ensure database performance, security, and scalability by monitoring system metrics and optimizing resource utilization.
- Develop and execute backup plans to ensure data integrity in case of system failures or disasters.
- Collaborate with development teams to design database schema changes and migrations.
Job Requirements :
- 5-7 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of DBMS concepts, including normalized/denormalized star/snowflake schemas.
- Proficiency in managing large-scale databases on Linux platforms using various tools such as SQL Server Management Studio.
