Role Overview:

Rashtriya Samachar is looking for an experienced
Media & News Leadership professional
to lead its digital-first national news journey.

The organisation has a
fully operational broadcast studio in Surat
and is preparing to launch its
24×7 YouTube Live News channel
, with a long-term vision of building a
national satellite television news network
.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful launch and operations of the 24×7 YouTube Live News platform.
- Build editorial, production, digital, technical & administrative teams.
- Establish newsroom SOPs, workflows, Assignment Desk and PCR/MCR processes.
- Drive audience growth, digital engagement and operational excellence.
- Plan and oversee expansion into
Ahmedabad and Delhi.
- Coordinate technology, compliance, infrastructure and strategic planning for the future satellite TV network.
- Work directly with the Chairman on performance and expansion plans.

Ideal Candidate
- 15+ years




of experience in television, digital or integrated news media leadership
- Proven experience in launching or scaling media operations
- Strong newsroom leadership and people management capabilities
- Ability to build high-performing teams and implement systems from the ground up
- Strong strategic thinking with a passion for journalism, innovation and institution building
