Position: Phlebotomist – Home Sample Collection

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Home Sample Phlebotomist to visit patients at their homes and collect blood and other diagnostic samples safely, accurately, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
- Visit patients at their homes for scheduled sample collection.
- Collect blood and other diagnostic samples as per test requirements.
- Follow proper phlebotomy techniques and infection-control procedures.
- Properly label, handle, store, and transport collected samples.
- Ensure samples are collected, packed, and transported within the required time.
- Verify patient details and test requirements before sample collection.
- Maintain proper documentation of sample collection and patient details.
- Handle patients professionally and explain the sample collection procedure when required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow company protocols.




- Coordinate with the laboratory and operations team for timely sample processing.
- Ensure proper hygiene and use of PPE during sample collection.
- Report any sample-related issues, difficult collections, or incidents to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of phlebotomy equipment.
- Follow assigned schedules and ensure timely completion of home visits.

Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/B.Sc. MLT)
- Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of blood collection and sample handling procedures.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to patient locations for home sample collection.
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety practices.
- Polite, patient-friendly, and professional attitude.
