BharatTender is a B2B procurement platform connecting buyers and vendors through a structured digital

tendering process. Our mission is to simplify procurement by enabling businesses to create, publish,

participate in, evaluate, and award tenders through a single platform.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for acquiring new business, onboarding

customers, and ensuring successful adoption of the BharatTender platform.

Unlike a traditional sales role, this position requires ownership of the complete customer journey — from

lead generation and client acquisition to platform onboarding, operational assistance, and long-term

relationship management. You will work closely with both buyers and vendors and develop a thorough

understanding of digital procurement and tender management.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

Identify and acquire new buyers and vendors for the BharatTender platform.

Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and market research.

Conduct meetings, product demonstrations, and platform presentations.

Build relationships with procurement teams, business owners, manufacturers, distributors, service

providers, and enterprise customers.

Convert qualified prospects into active platform users.

Achieve monthly business development, onboarding, and revenue targets.

Customer Onboarding

Guide customers through the registration and onboarding process.

Assist clients in understanding platform features and procurement workflows.

Ensure successful activation and continued engagement of onboarded customers.

Maintain regular follow-ups and build long-term customer relationships.
