Roles and Responsibility:
- PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water
and wastewater treatment systems.
- Hands-on Experience of Programming of Allen Bradley/Siemens PLC, HMI SCADA System
is a must (ControlLogix, RSLogix5000, FactoryTalk View-Machine Edition or Site Edition;
TIA Portal etc.).
- Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
- Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs;, Process design guidelines,
Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best
practices guides.
- Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively
seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
- Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications.
- Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator
and equipment safety in mind.
- Manage within the defined budget, scope and schedule of a project and report risks and
opportunities to project managers in a timely manner.
- Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resourcesfor projects as
needed.
- Communicate in a formal, skilled, and technical manner to various audiences.
- Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting
and issue resolution.
- Establish, maintain, implement and follow Veolia standard practices for programming.
- Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies will be a value
addition (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane
