Job Description of Sr. Executive - Logistics and Customs brokerage
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end inbound logistics operations.
- Knowledge to manger FTWZ operations
- Knowledge to manage the Labelling operation required of Pharmaceutical industry as per LM act
- Manage freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers.
- Manage 3PL Vendors and coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHAs) / Customs Brokers.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, and operational issues
- Ensure effective coordination between Supply Chain, Finance, Warehouse, Customer Service, and external logistics, Regulatory Team and Quality partners
- Manage end-to-end customs clearance activities for import and export shipments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs laws, regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Review shipping bills, bills of entry, invoices, packing lists, certificates, and other regulatory documents for clearance
- Ensure accurate classification, valuation, duty calculation,



and timely clearance of shipments.
- Manage freight and logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Review freight invoices and ensure accuracy against agreed commercial terms.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and drive corrective actions.

Compliance, Audit & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, import/export requirements, and applicable statutory obligations.
- Support internal and external audits related to logistics and customs.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation for regulatory and audit requirements.
- Identify logistics and customs-related risks and implement appropriate controls.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Typically 4–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, Preferably from Pharmaceutical Indu
