Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a High School Maths Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and personalized online lessons in high school mathematics, addressing topics such as algebra and problem-solving techniques. Day-to-day tasks include lesson preparation, tutoring sessions with students, monitoring academic progress, and offering feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
The tutor will also support students in building confidence and developing a strong foundation in mathematics.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge and expertise in Mathematics, including topics such as Algebra
- Experience in Online Tutoring and one-on-one or group Tutoring
- Strong Communication skills to effectively explain concepts and provide transparent feedback
- Proven ability to engage and motivate high school students
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Prior experience teaching high school-level students is a plus
- Familiarity with online education platforms and tools is an advantage
