Role and Responsibilities
- Mechanical Design: Develop and optimize mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, Solid Edge, and AutoCAD).
- Product Development: Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from conceptualization to prototyping, testing, and final approval.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor design teams, assign tasks, review outputs, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Project Management: Apply Agile methodologies, Jira, and PLM systems (Team center, Wind-chill) to track progress and manage deliverables.
- Design Validation: Conduct FEA, static analysis, and simulation (Soft Cast, Hyper mesh) to validate structural integrity and performance.
- Change Management: Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Design Change Requests (DCR), and maintain documentation for compliance.
- Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate with suppliers for current product development, testing, and approvals.

Continuous Improvement: Implement VAVE, Kaizen, and GD&T; practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
