To ensure that all footwear products meet the company's required quality standards before they are packed and dispatched to customers/dealers.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect footwear at different stages of production, including **cutting, stitching, moulding, finishing and packing**.
* Check footwear for **stitching defects, material defects, colour variation, shape problems and finishing issues**.
* Check the **upper, sole, insole and overall construction** of the footwear.
* Identify defects such as **loose stitching, open joints, excess glue, scratches, stains, wrinkles, improper fitting and finishing defects**.
* Check the **size, pair matching and design** according to the approved sample.
* Ensure the finished product matches the company's **quality standards and approved sample**.
* Separate **OK, B-Grade and defective products** and maintain proper records.
* Conduct **random quality checks** during production and final inspection.
* Inform the Production Supervisor/In-charge about quality problems immediately.
* Coordinate with the production team to **correct and reduce repeated defects**.
* Check the quality of footwear before sending products to the **packing and dispatch department**.
* Maintain daily **QC inspection and rejection reports**.
* Monitor the percentage of defects and report major quality issues to management.
* Ensure proper handling and storage of finished footwear to avoid damage.
* Follow company quality procedures and maintain discipline on the production floor.
Required Skills
* Basic knowledge of **footwear quality checking**.
