We're looking for a Senior CAD Designer for Diamond & Gold Jewellery.
Role Description:
The Jewellery CAD Designer will be responsible for translating design concepts and sketches into detailed, production-ready CAD models and technical drawings. Day-to-day tasks include developing 3D models for various jewellery pieces, preparing construction drawings for manufacturing, and collaborating with designers and artisans to refine designs for aesthetics, functionality, and feasibility. The role involves reviewing prototypes, making design adjustments based on feedback, and maintaining organised digital design files and documentation. This is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring close coordination with the in-house design and production teams.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in jewellery CAD design
- Proficiency in Rhino, Matrix, or similar CAD software
- Strong understanding of diamond & gold jewellery construction and manufacturing
- Expertise in technical drawings and production-ready CAD files
- Knowledge of casting, stone setting, and jewellery production processes
- Excellent attention to detail and design aesthetics
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively
- Diploma/Certification in Jewellery CAD or Jewellery Design preferred
