Responsible for handling pharmacy counter operations, assisting patients with their medicine requirements, processing prescriptions and billing, maintaining sales records, checking medicine stock and expiry, and coordinating with the pharmacist for smooth and accurate medicine dispensing. The role also requires good customer service, basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and adherence to hospital pharmacy procedures.

Job Responsibilities
- Attend to patients and customers at the pharmacy counter and assist with their requirements.
- Receive prescriptions and provide medicines as per prescription and hospital pharmacy procedures.
- Check medicine name, quantity, batch number, expiry date, and other relevant details before issuing.
- Prepare bills, collect payments, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Coordinate with the pharmacist regarding prescriptions, medicine availability, and any clarification required.
- Maintain proper arrangement and cleanliness of medicines at the counter.




- Check stock availability and inform the concerned person about medicines that need replenishment.
- Maintain proper records of sales, returns, and other pharmacy transactions.
- Handle medicine returns and exchanges as per hospital policy.
- Maintain polite and professional communication with patients, attendants, and other hospital staff.
- Follow pharmacy, patient safety, and hospital procedures at all times.

Eligibility
- Previous experience in hospital or retail pharmacy will be an advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy billing software.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic understanding of commonly used medicines and pharmacy operations.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends/holidays if required.
- Responsible, attentive, and comfortable working in a busy hospital environment.

Pay: From ₹7,000.00 per month
