- Develop, write, and edit project documentation including reports, concept notes, knowledge products, activity manuals
- Work closely with field teams to gather accurate data, stories, and technical information
- Translate complex environmental and technical processes into accessible language
- Coordinate with the team to integrate project data into reports and presentations
- Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with donor and organizational communication standards.
- Assist in documentation for audits, impact assessments, and donor evaluations
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Communications, Water resources, Environmental Science, Rural Development, Agriculture, English, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing or development communication, preferably in the non-profit or environmental sector.
- Robust command of written English
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with field teams and translate field inputs into polished written content.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Word and PowerPoint)



familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe InDesign
- Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
- Prior experience documenting watershed, agriculture, or rural development projects.
- Understanding of participatory rural appraisal and community engagement approaches.
- Assist in creating, formatting, and reviewing documents, reports, and manuals.
- Organize and maintain document records
- Coordinate with field teams to gather necessary information for documentation.
- Assist in updating and maintaining databases, templates, and documentation guidelines.
- Support team members in administrative and documentation-related tasks.
- Any graduate preferably from social science, environmental science and agriculture streams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Working knowledge of other languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Hindi will be an added advantage
