Role & responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for US-based construction projects.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify scope, quantities, and material requirements.
- Perform detailed trade-wise Material for various construction activities.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and Bid documents to determine project scope.
- Prepare and maintain estimation worksheets, bid summaries, and cost breakdowns.
- Use Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff (OST) for digital take-offs and measurements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify scope and estimation requirements.
- Compare subcontractor/vendor quotations and support the preparation of competitive bids.
- Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential cost risks during the estimation process.

Preferred candidate profile




- 1-4 years of experience in construction estimation.
- Experience working on US-based construction projects is required.
- Solid knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, and construction drawings.
- Experience working with US-based General Contractors (GCs) on residential and commercial construction projects is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with either Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff (OST).
- Good understanding of US construction practices, terminology, and trade-wise estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Experience in working with Excel and estimation software/tools.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
