Position Overview
The Junior Accountant will be the backbone of Glimmer's day-to-day transactional finance operations. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this role is responsible for ensuring that the steady volume of vendor invoices, employee expenses, customer payments, and bank entries are recorded accurately,
completely, and without delay. This is a high-accountability role in a lean, quick-moving team, where precision in the details directly enables the entire finance function to operate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Processing
Handle data entry for vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding to the correct cost centre, account, and period.
Process employee expense claims in line with company policy and ensure proper approvals are in place.
Coordinate with the Senior Accountant to ensure vendor payments are disbursed on time.
Maintain an organised vendor payment tracker and flag overdue or pending items proactively.
Accounts Receivable Support
Assist in the preparation and issuance of customer invoices as directed by the Senior Accountant.
Support accounts receivable follow-ups, including tracking outstanding payments and maintaining AR records.
