Core Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python
- Develop RESTful APIs and data processing pipelines
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deployment)
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS
- Work with Infrastructure-as-Code, primarily AWS CloudFormation
- Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and product teams on system reliability and performance
- Ensure code quality through testing, peer reviews, and static analysis
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Tools & Technologies I currently work with:
- Python (including Streamlit for building internal apps/dashboards)
- AWS CloudFormation (primary IaC tool for our stack)
- AWS services: Lambda, S3, EC2, ECS, Secrets Manager, Redshift
- Redshift, accessed via SSO
- Tableau and DBeaver for data querying/reporting, authenticated via Entra ID credentials
- AWS Identity Center (IDC) for access management
- Git for version control
