Job Title: ITI Mechanical Fitter

Department: Maintenance / Engineering

Qualification: ITI – Fitter / Mechanical
Experience: 1–3 years preferred;

Job Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.
- Inspect machines regularly to identify mechanical faults and abnormal conditions.
- Handle fitting, assembly, dismantling, alignment, and replacement of mechanical components.
- Work with tools such as spanners, drilling machines, grinders, cutting machines, and measuring instruments.
- Maintain pumps, motors, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.
- Support the maintenance team during machine installation and commissioning.
- Ensure proper lubrication and routine servicing of machinery.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Follow safety procedures, GMP requirements,



and company maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with the Production and QA teams during maintenance activities.
- Ensure housekeeping and proper handling/storage of maintenance tools and equipment.

Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of mechanical fitting and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of machines, tools, bearings, shafts, couplings, pumps, and valves.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings is preferred.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to breakdowns when required.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork.

Preferred Candidate
- ITI Fitter / Mechanical Trade certificate.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, biomedical, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments will be an advantage.
- Candidates from Pen, Panvel, Khopoli, Raigad, or nearby areas may be preferred.
