1. Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing
- Monthly Closure: Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all journals, reconciliations, and adjustments are completed accurately and on time.
- MIS & Analytics: Design and generate weekly and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to provide visibility into financial performance.
- Year-End Reporting: Prepare comprehensive Quarterly and Yearly Financial Statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
2. Strategic Business Partnering
- SBU Support: Act as a dedicated finance partner to Strategic Business Unit (SBU) heads, helping them navigate operational challenges through a financial lens.
- Performance Review: Analyze P&L; statements and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify variances, trends, and areas for cost optimization.
- Budgeting:
Orchestrate the annual budget preparation process and perform periodic variance analysis to keep the business on track.
3. Treasury & Cash Management
- Cash Flow: Monitor and manage daily cash flow requirements to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
- Disbursements: Oversee the end-to-end payment processing system, ensuring all vendor and statutory payments are executed with proper authorization and documentation.
4. Audit & Compliance
- Audit Liaison: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Internal and Statutory auditors, ensuring the timely provision of data and resolution of queries.
- Special Audits: Manage tax audits or other special financial investigations as required by the board or regulatory bodies.
5. Leadership & Team Management
- Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of accuracy and skilled growth.
