Electrical Supervisor – Civil Construction Project

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to supervise electrical activities at a civil construction project. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site electrical work, manpower supervision, material coordination, temporary power supply, and ensuring work is completed safely and as per approved drawings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily electrical activities at the construction site.
- Manage electricians, helpers, and electrical contractors.
- Supervise temporary power supply, site lighting, cables, DBs, and electrical distribution systems.
- Ensure electrical installation work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate electrical requirements with the Civil Engineer, Site Engineer, and project team.
- Supervise installation of conduits, wiring, cables, panels, DBs, lighting, and earthing systems.
- Check electrical materials and ensure proper utilization at site.




- Monitor testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical works.
- Maintain daily work progress and material records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with electrical and site safety procedures.
- Identify site issues and report them to the Electrical Engineer/Project Manager.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned electrical works as per project schedule.

Requirements
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical supervision, preferably in civil construction projects.
- Good knowledge of construction-site electrical works and temporary power systems.
- Ability to manage electricians, helpers, and contractors.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, cables, DBs, panels, lighting, and earthing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Solid knowledge of electrical safety practices.
