- The responsibility of a senior planner is to support Lead planner in overseeing following planning and scheduling aspects of projects within an organization. Following are some key responsibilities.
- Project Planning: Support lead planner in developing and maintaining project schedules using project management software.
- Resource loading: Support lead planner in schedule resource loading. Estimate resources required, including manpower, equipment, and materials for each activity.
- Data collection: Collect data from concern stakeholders for project schedule update and reports preparation as per set frequency.
- Schedule Management: Update project schedules as per set frequency.
- Risk Management: Highlight potential risks to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare progress reports as requested by lead planner.
- Productivity Report: Prepare and maintain productivity reports for major trades as per lead planners instruction.
- Change Management: Assess the impact of change requests and update the schedule accordingly.
- Progress Meetings: Attend progress meetings and prepare MOM of meetings.
- Documentation: Ensure documentation related to project schedules, including baseline schedules, progress reports, change orders, Delay events is stored as per SOP.
- Contractors Performance Review: Maintain contractors performance record as per lead planners instruction.
Education Requirement :
- Post Graduate in Construction Management (NICMAR)
- B.E / B Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience Requirement :
- Necessary : 8-12 years relevant work experience
- Desired: Experience is handling real estate projects.
