Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle NPD purchase activities for automotive electronic components such as PCB/PCBA, displays, connectors, sensors, switches, ICs, and other electronics.
- Coordinate with R&D;, Project, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams for new product development and launch.
- Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize suppliers.
- Ensure timely availability of prototype, pilot, and production materials.
- Develop new suppliers and support localization / alternate source development.
- Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and cost.
- Support APQP, PPAP, and recent project approval activities.
- Track BOM cost and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage engineering change requirements related to procurement.
- Report project and sourcing status to the HOD Electronics Purchase.
