Role Description
The Data Science Mentor role is a remote position focused on guiding learners through foundational and advanced data science concepts and practical applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting live mentoring sessions, reviewing assignments and projects, providing detailed feedback, and clarifying doubts through online forums, chats, or video calls. The mentor will help learners understand topics such as data analysis,



machine learning, model evaluation, and deployment, and support them in building portfolio-worthy projects. The role also involves contributing to curriculum improvement by suggesting updates based on learner performance and current industry practices, and collaborating with the academic and product teams to enhance learner outcomes. This role may be offered on a part time or flexible basis depending on program requirements.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in data science and analytics, including statistics, data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and visualization using tools such as Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering), and familiarity with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or similar frameworks.
