video editor who can move fast, take feedback well, and produce content that actually feels sharp, modern, and native to the internet

- someone who understands what makes content work on social, can handle a high volume of edits, and can also take ownership of longer-form videos when needed. This role is a strong fit for an editor who is comfortable working in
Descript
, knows how to use b-roll intentionally, can make light visual polish decisions without overcomplicating things, and is excited to improve the workflow as they go.

What you’ll do
- Edit
short-form social content
for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X
- Edit
longer-form videos
from raw footage to polished final output
- Work quickly across a steady pipeline of content without sacrificing quality
- Use
Descript
as part of your core workflow
- Pull and place b-roll with intention, pacing,



and attention to detail
- Handle light color correction/grading and basic cleanup when needed
- Turn feedback into better second and third passes quickly
- Help improve our editing systems, templates, workflows, and turnaround process
- Bring references, ideas, and creative suggestions instead of just waiting for instructions
