Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong
Service Head
to lead our medical equipment service operations. The ideal candidate should have
7+ years of relevant experience in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Devices, Medical Machines, and Healthcare Equipment
, with proven expertise in service management, team leadership, troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and customer support.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the
reliability, performance, uptime, and service quality
of medical equipment across customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete
service and technical support function
for medical devices and equipment.
- Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of
Biomedical/Service Engineers
.
- Plan and monitor installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown services.




- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to medical machines and equipment.
- Ensure timely closure of customer complaints and service requests within defined TAT/SLAs.
- Coordinate with customers, hospitals, vendors, OEMs, and internal teams for technical and service-related requirements.
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain service records, equipment history, AMC/CMC records, spare parts requirements, and service reports.
- Monitor service KPIs, engineer productivity, response time, first-time fix rate, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage spare parts, tools, consumables, and technical inventory required for service operations.
- Support the installation and commissioning of recent medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Provide technical guidance to service engineers for complex breakdowns and critical equipment issues.
