As a Vehicle Operations Coordinator, you will be the eyes and ears for our fleet of cars. Your main job is to watch our vehicles in real-time to make sure everything is running safely and smoothly. This is a crucial hands-on role where you will follow clear procedures to support our daily operations.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Watch the Fleet: Use our computer systems to monitor the location, status, and safety of our vehicles throughout your shift.
- Spot and Report Issues: If you see any problems, errors, or unusual activity, you will immediately report it to the right person by following clear, step-by-step guides.
- Follow Checklists: Complete daily checklists to make sure all systems are ready and working correctly.
- Keep Records: Take explicit and accurate notes of all activities and issues that happen during your shift. You will also create a simple daily summary report for the team.
- Be the Point of Contact: Act as the main communication link between the vehicles, our on-the-ground support teams,
and engineers.
- Share Updates: Clearly explain the current situation to the person taking over your shift so nothing gets missed.
What You Need (Required Skills and Qualifications):
- A Sharp Eye for Detail: You are good at spotting small details and noticing when something is not right.
- Ability to Follow Rules: You can follow instructions and procedures carefully and consistently.
- Good Communication: You can speak and write clearly so that everyone understands you.
- Comfortable with Computers: You know how to use basic computer programs and can learn new software easily.
- Strong Focus: You can concentrate on a task for long periods.
- Flexible Schedule: You must be willing to work different shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelors degree in Education, Communication, Instructional Design, or related field.
