Job Summary

We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our Bangalore team. The candidate will be responsible for accurate and protected blood sample collection from patients and donors, proper sample identification and handling, coordination with hospitals and healthcare professionals, and timely transportation of samples to the laboratory.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail because samples collected for transplant-related investigations must be correctly identified,



documented, handled, and transported according to TRAX SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and blood sample collection from patients and donors.
- Collect samples required for HLA, PRA, Crossmatch, DSA and other transplant-related investigations as per laboratory requirements.
- Verify patient/donor details and test requisitions before sample collection.
- Ensure correct sample tube selection, labeling, barcoding and documentation.
- Strictly follow TRAX SOPs for sample collection, handling, storage and transportation.
- Ensure sample integrity and prevent pre-analytical errors or sample mix-ups.
- Coordinate with hospitals, transplant teams, doctors, nurses and patients for sample collection.
- Coordinate timely pickup and transportation of samples from hospitals/collection locations to the TRAX laboratory.
