About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive with strong experience in government tendering processes, especially through the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal and other government procurement platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end tender management, bidding, and coordination with government agencies.

This role requires a candidate who is well-versed in compliance, documentation, and pricing strategies, along with the willingness to travel within the city to liaise with government departments and gather relevant tender information.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete tender lifecycle including identification, evaluation, preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Handle tendering activities on GeM Portal and other government e-procurement platforms.
- Regularly track and identify new tender opportunities related to MRO products (PPE & Tools).
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial bids with accuracy and within deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all tender requirements, technical specifications,



and documentation.
- Coordinate internally with sales, procurement, and technical teams for bid preparation.
- Travel within Chennai to government offices and agencies to collect tender-related information and build relationships.
- Maintain proper records of tenders, submissions, and outcomes for reporting and analysis.
- Participate in reverse auctions and online bidding processes.
- Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to enhance bid success rate.

Key Requirements
- 35 years of experience in tendering, preferably in MRO / PPE / Tools / Industrial products.
- Strong hands-on experience with GeM Portal and other government tender portals.
- Proven experience in bidding, reverse auctions, and tender documentation.
- Positive understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously with high attention to detail.
