As a medical sales representative, your role is pivotal in bridging healthcare professionals with cutting-edge solutions for orthopedic surgeries. You'll engage with orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, surgical teams and channel partners to understand their needs and educate them on our range of implants, instruments, and technologies. By building strong relationships and providing expert guidance, you'll ensure that healthcare providers have access to the latest advancements in orthopedic care, ultimately improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of orthopedic surgery.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure instrumentation and implants are available to meet customer operating schedules.
· Assist the orthopedic surgical team during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
· Scrub in for orthopedic surgeries, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring all surgical instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
· Prepare the operating theatre for orthopedic procedures by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
· Act as an onsite resource,
enabling Medical Sales Representatives to focus on developing new business opportunities.
· Execute efficient consignment stock rotation with minimum quarterly, full account audit, and reorder checks on a daily basis.
· Maintain instrument sets in good and protected working order.
· Remove and arrange the replacement of damaged instrumentation following SOPs.
· Report Lost & Found Items (LFI) and Performance Incidents (PIs) within 48 hours of awareness.
· Provide each account with an accurate stock list.
· Travel within and outside the territory as required.
· Work outside normal hours to attend surgeries when needed.
· Ensure returns and in-field movements are conducted following SOPs.
· Accurately report cases/surgeries through timely submission of implant cards and monthly surgery reports.
· Monitor and maintain the inventory of orthopedic surgical supplies and equipment.
