Design Coordination Technical Management
- Coordinate with architect, structural consultant, and MEP to ensure fa ade design intent is technically feasible and buildable.
- Review fa ade drawings, details, sections, and elevations for constructability, tolerances, and interfaces.
- Ensure alignment between architectural drawings, structural embeds, inserts, and slab edge details.
- Finalize fa ade systems:
- Curtain wall
- Window wall
- Aluminum windows
- Stone cladding / ACP / GFRC / precast (as applicable)
2. Engineering Review Approvals
- Review and approve shop drawings, calculations, and material specifications submitted by fa ade vendors.
- Verify compliance with:
- Wind load structural performance
- Water tightness air infiltration
- Thermal performance acoustic requirements
- Coordinate mock-ups, performance tests, and sample approvals.
3. Vendor Procurement Support
- Assist in pre-qualification and technical evaluation of fa ade contractors.
- Participate in technical bid evaluation and negotiations.
- Review BOQs, system proposals,
and value engineering options without compromising performance or aesthetics.
- Ensure long-lead fa ade materials are frozen as per project schedule.
4. Site Execution Quality Control
- Monitor fa ade installation activities on site to ensure:
- Correct setting out alignment
- Proper fixing methods and anchorage
- Sealant application and finishing quality
- Coordinate fa ade works with RCC, waterproofing, and finishing trades.
- Conduct regular inspections and issue snag lists / corrective action reports.
- Ensure fa ade works meet approved drawings and specifications.
5. Interface Management
- Manage interfaces between fa ade and:
- RCC slab edges beams
- Waterproofing systems
- Balconies, terraces, parapets
- Fire stopping and expansion joints
- Resolve in office technical issues and discrepancies proactively.
6. Testing, Commissioning Handover
- Plan and supervise fa ade performance tests:
- Water penetration test
