Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) professional to drive master data quality, governance and process excellence across key business functions. The role will be responsible for managing Material, Customer, Vendor and BOM Master Data, ensuring data accuracy, compliance and consistency across ERP systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of manufacturing/production processes, material management, data governance and ERP systems, along with the ability to work closely with business, technology, finance and supply-chain stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage Material, Customer, Vendor and BOM master data with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness and data quality.
- Establish and monitor MDM governance processes, SOPs, controls and approval workflows.
- Conduct regular master data quality checks,



audits and validations to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of tax-related master data, including HSN codes, tax rates and other statutory requirements.
- Analyze master data issues and business processes to identify root causes, process gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Manage master data requests within defined SLAs and turnaround timelines.
- Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Technology and Data Governance teams to ensure alignment on master data requirements.
- Partner with Technology/ERP teams for MDM module enhancements, automation and system improvements.
- Participate in current ERP implementation / ERP transformation projects, including master data migration, validation, cleansing and governance.
- Develop and monitor data quality KPIs, dashboards and reports for management review.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement
