The groups flagship building materials platform—India’s market leader with a strong manufacturing legacy and pan-India footprint—is now entering the Cables & Wires segment as part of its Building Products expansion. The portfolio includes LT, Control, Instrumentation, Flexible, and Rubber Cables, positioning the business across the construction and infrastructure value chain. A greenfield, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is being set up near Jhagadia, Gujarat with an initial investment of ~1,800 Cr and capacity of 35–40 lakh km of cables. The business has a clearly defined scale-up roadmap, targeting 10,000 Cr revenue by 2031 and 40,000 Cr by 2035, supported by strong brand equity, a robust distribution network, and national reach.
