1) To exercise thehighest possible standard of patient care according to his/ her clinicalprivileges and available resources.

C) Dutiesand Responsibilities :
1) Abide by theMedical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of theMedical Staff and those specific to the department.
2) Provide thehighest attainable standard of medical care for the patients for whom he/ she areresponsible.
3) Responsible forthe clinical care of the Patients requiring Medical Care according to generallyaccepted standards.
4) To attend alloutdoor patients as per timings of OPD for particular days and norms ofthe
Hospital.

To communicate andcooperate with other medical staff and colleagues who have patients in thehospital and wish to discuss other pertinent medical problems regardingpatients in other areas of the hospital.
6) ToConduct All Radio diagnosis procedures
7) Suggest thenecessary investigation and treatment as per their Knowledge
8) To be On Call forthe emergency day allotted and for Radiology References on respective day/nightallotted to the Consultant.
9) Accept the dutyhours including night emergencies in rotations
10) Facilitate thepatient and perform tests with complete patience and depth
11) Participates inthe on-call duties as required by the department. Teaches staff assigned fortraining purposes, and participates in the planning and development of the Medicinedepartment.
